Topic: Can somebody please help me regarding this error during installation:(

I have installed a delta classifieds
The installation went smooth ,also the script connected successfully to my database as well,but after that ,they asked me to fill the following details:
MySQL Tables Configuration & File Configuration


Path to program
which has been mentioned as "d:\hshome\username\mydomain\classifieds"

URL to program (no http:// and no trailing slash!)
which has been mentioned as "mydomain/classifieds"

Your Email Address
I have entered my email id

Table prefix
phpclass_
(I have not entered anything in this field)

after I fill in these details and press create

the following page with error turns up

MySQL Tables Configuration & File Configuration

Checking phpclass_ad (THIS APPEARS WITH A GREEN TICK MARK)

For webmaster: This error with far more details has been logged in PHP Classifieds's error log
(I have not found this error log as well)
[Sat Dec 13 04:13:26 2008] [warn-phpd] mmap cache can't open d:\hshome\username\mydomain\classifieds\admin\config\gen_inc.php (pid 3092 th 9468)

Can you please tell me what needs to be done to resolve this error.

I have abslolutely no clue what to do.
I even contacted my hosting department but they asked me to seek help from the classifieds scripts owner website.

Can someone please help me in details for this as I have no formal knowledge of php.sad

This is in the wrong forum for a start

Reinstall and follow the instructions regarding the admin area

You need to have all permisions on the database to setup Classified
Go to MySql and give yoursel full admin permissions then re-run the script

agree wrong forum before you post search this issue is common

fix is change the slash

d:\hshome\username\mydomain\classifieds

to d:/hshome/username/mydomain/classifieds

sir!!!
In my opinion you have wrongly installed the PHP installer!!
There is an option called Manual install along with Auto install!!
If you wanna install successfully then please install using the automatic option .Later on if you wanna remove any of the applications then you can remove it!!

Hi, sorry I write here, but I dont see other place for this.

I have identical problem, I re-install 9 times .

I dont know where is the auto-install.
